College....?
Depends on your money status and your where you want to go. If you have a particular major in mind, you should look up what school fits that major.

You should go to state school if you cannot afford private (out of state public costs the same as private). If your going private, you better know your major and pick because of your major.

I'll take this moment to tell you... Community Colleges ROCK. They are very cheap, the class sizes are smaller, and you get more quality teacher to student time. You also can delay declaring your major for a few years.

Most of the disadvantages of CC that they tell you in HS are complete bull. The reason that most CC students don't transfer is because most CC students don't WANT to transfer. You have single moms, people who are 3X your age, people getting a new carrier, all types. Just like it is a great experience to go off to a school with a bunch of kids your own age, it is also great to go to school in such a diverse enviroment.

There are also usually great programs from CC to transfer to Universities. Remember, that Universities love transfer students because they have allready proven that they can do college work, and they won't flake out. Often times they offer deals to the local community colleges. I'm transfering to a University with a gaurenteed agreement: All i did was walk into the counseling office and ask, and they gave me admission to a UC. I only had a 3.0 GPA!

The only downside to CC is that you usually end up staying with your parents.. but itsonly 2 years, and it will be over before you know it.. and you will be able to save up money :)
