College...?
You don't go to medical school till AFTER you get your undergraduate degree. Focus on those schools that have excellent undergraduate degrees. Look at the admissions to your choice of Medical Schools and see from where they draw their students. Going to Harvard as a undergrad is NO guarantee you will be admitted to Harvard Medical. Schools look for diversity.
Reply:harvard university is good

Temple is also good!
Reply:both Duke and UNC have great medical programs
Reply:University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is ranked number 3 in the nation for Pharmacy school, I am a college freshman right now trying to pursue a career in pharmacy as well. The main thing you need to focus on right now is getting into a good college so get the grades up, do extracurriculars, be involved with the community- colleges want well rounded students. Prerequisites you really do not have to worry about until you get to college, but for pharmacy you have to take Organic Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Anatomy and Physiology, Calculus, 3 levels of foreign languages, microbiology, and statistics and other general education requirements. Each school differs with their pre reqs but those are the ones for UNC Chapel Hill
Reply:Well another real good doctor school is JHU (John Hopkins University).

Some things you can do are volunteer work at:

1) A hospital

2) A local pharmacy

Colleges like to see you working outside of school and get hands on experience in the field of your choice.

Knowing your major is already a plus.

Now although you have good grades, yeah you'll be competing with thousands of kids with an average of 4.0s around the world seeing as how you want to go to the best schools. Haha, but don't be afraid it's possible.

Another large factor in getting into these schools is doing well on the SATs. Start practicing now. I know it seems early, but take it from someone who went through it, it's never too early. Haha. Anyway, the scores DOES count. So try as hard as you can to get 2400.

Another prerequisite is to take SATIIs. This would show the college the subjects that you are good at. Since you want to go into the Science field, you should take at least ONE MATH, and perhaps TWO in science. If you want to up your chances, and you're real good in sciences, take three, since medical stuff has a lot to do with science. You can take the other math too if you want. But don't take these tests for fun, as they do cost money, and only look good if you do well on them. Try getting a 700+ on them out of 800.

Anyway, these schools want to see you well rounded, so be sure to be doing this after schools, and during the summer (maybe medical camp? CTY has some programs for medicine). Other things are also a definite plus, but only do them if you can handle them well.

Also, these schools require an interview most likely, so make sure you read a sufficient amount of "classical" books, and are socially savvy, if not, I'm sure it'll be okay. But you can practice a little between now and then.

Good Luck!!
