Go to college with out green card,which college accpect that?

Hi ,i 've been here about 2 years and i got the tourist visa but it is not valid anymore because i can't live in u.s.a with tourist visa. Anyway, there is one more year to go until i graduate .Now, I am 17 years old and my mum has green card. She is going to help me apply the green card after she got her citizenship. So, I will have no ss#,no green in these year. The thing is, I have to apply the college during my senior year, but i have no ss#,no green card .Is it possible that have any college or community college accept the student who do not have green card in NEW YORK .I am really confuse and i really want someone else to help me,,i don't know which college that i could apply, is somebody have the same situation as mine and still could go to college?//??please, I really have to know the answer because my counselor is asking me which college do i want to attend, ,what should i do in order to study college without green card in recently year?, detail answer ,please

You are an illegal alien, you should not be entitled to receive education at all. You are taking a spot and maybe a scholarship that a legal resident or US citizen should take. You are a burden.
Reply:First of all- a hig for all the nasty "answers" coming your way here. What I highly suggest is applying to the schools you are interested in, and once you have been accepted, going back to your country and applying for a student visa- they are not difficult to get in most cases as long as you have been accepted into an accredited program, and colleges/universities have foreign student departments to help you through this process. Reply:be happy you got an education her at all. now after your visa is up go back to where you came from. if you want a decent college education maybe you should try to become a legal citizen instead of taking a spot that a legal resident could use.we as americans thank you for being a tourist but that should not give an illegal the right to special rules that others do not have.please learn the english language if you want an education here gringo!
Reply:New York's public schools, both the SUNYs, but particularly the CUNYs will accept exceptional in-state students and provide scholarships. Talk to you counselor, they should know about this rule especially in NYC.
Reply:I hope not. That spot should remain open for someone who is here legally or a citizen. Have your mom get you to immigration immediately and GET LEGAL! No excuses.
Reply:You are what colleges call a "cash pay". They will trample their own grandmothers to get you to attend their school. You may have to go back to your own country to apply for a student visa, but every school in America wants you, because you represent advance dollars in their pockets. Ask at the school admissions office, they will gladly help you.
