im about to apply for college so do i have to wait until i get accepted to apply for scholarships or do i go ahead and apply now.

You can apply for scholarships now. You should try Fastweb.com It's a great website and you can apply for a ton of scholarships. It takes a little while to set up the account, answering questions. But it's worth it. GOOD LUCK!
