College...?

I'm currently a junior in highschool and I was wondering if anybody could recommend me a couple of things...

1) Some good college choices in North Carolina, South Carolina, and Virginia for $27,000 or under. That's about the roof of my price range. Preferably with no more than about 15,000 students.

2) What would be some good scholarships to apply for? I currently have a 90 average, though I don't know my SAT scores yet, I'm taking it in March though.

3) What are some good majors that can lead to successful jobs and what do said majors entail?

4) Best jobs to get during college to help pay for it.

If you have anything else to add, it would be much appreciated.

College...?
Go to the princeton review website and create a free account, this will allow you to search on hundreds of criteria for schools in the area's that you are interested in. I used it to find my college, you can choose what sports you like, what clubs you want, GPA, SAT, Majors, size of school, price, and much more, its a really good tool to use in your college search. If memory serves me it even provides you with the probability of your acceptance based on your grades and SAT (I may be wrong about that because i'm looking at grad school now).

Sorry I missed your other Q's. A business major is always strong if you work at it, engineering is good, and computer science continues to grow.

Working on campus is preferable for convenience, but you would make more money off campus, wait tables on weekends or something.

Go to your school counselor to ask what scholarships are available, also look at local businesses some offer scholarships for employees, so if you are looking for summer work, kill two birds with one stone.

Finally, don't worry about the stigma attached to where you go, so many people want to go to the "best" school they get into, you should really shoot for the school you'll do the best at, the one you feel most comfortable at. It's better to excel at a good school than to be average (lost in the shuffle) at a slightly better school.

Good luck!
Reply:1) I recommend Clemson in SC.

2) Go here to start http://www.fastweb.com

3) Engineering, science in general, nursing.

4) Work on campus if possible - if not, find something you can do in your spare time (I know there are some telemarketing companies that hire college students to work from their dorms, and you set your own hours).
Reply:Western Carolina University is the cheapest public school in nc right now with around 17-19000 students
