College...?

if you get straight As in high school, but dont do any extra curriculr activities, can you get inot college

College...?
Goto community college save some money then transfer. They don't care about your grades and "extra activities"
Reply:Yeah

some people just think activties are a better chance
Reply:yes
Reply:Absolutely. Activities help, but not nearly as much as some people would have you believe.
Reply:Yes, I wasn't in any clubs at school or even out of school, and I was in the bottom 25% of the graduating class, and I still got into a university that has an 11% acceptence rate.
Reply:yes you should be able to... you may even be eligible for scholarships. Check with your college and also online for possible scholarships.
Reply:it's more likely these days for someone with maybe a GPA a bit lower than yours but plenty of extra cirriculars to get into college, but that's not to say you can't get into college. There are plenty of colleges that accept people based on things like SAT, ACT, and/ or ranking status alone.
Reply:I would say generally, you should be fine, however that depends entirely upon which colleges you're attempting. Also, you SAT or ACT test scores play a part, so those have to be up to par.
Reply:yeah you can get IN probably, but not to a top school...if you had all a's and did extracurriculars you'd have a chance of getting into a top school.
