College???

im about to be in college... what should i expect... and is it as hard as everyone says it is

College???
Remember when you went from Jr High to High School, and you were probably worried it would be soo much harder and such a big change? And remember how after about a week you were settled in and you realized it wasnt harder, and you were prepared to be there? Thats what college is like. If you were accepted to go there you will be fine!





Professors wont nag you to do your work, like perhaps they might have in High School. If you dont do an assignement, you fail and thats that. The professor doesnt follow up with you.





So you have to make sure you do your reading, do your assignments, do your studying, and ask questions when you dont know something. But its not "hard". If you were accepted to go there, then the college has faith you will do fine, and so should you.





Stay on top of your work, go to classes (thats a big one! in first year its tempting to skip because no one checks to make sure you are there. But you will fall behind, so dont skip), and make friends.





And remember, everyone will be a little nervous and unsure in the beginning. Thats natural, but after a few weeks, it will feel like you've been in college forever. Enjoy it!
Reply:well .. it's not that hard! You just have to listen while your Instructors or Professors are teaching. . . pass every requirements, exams etc.... join an org if you like.. there's a lot of things you can do... in college :)
Reply:It's not as hard as everyone says it is. The professors teach, and you have to study hard...that's all there is to it...Don't party to hard and flunk out.
