While you should get clothes before you go, you might want to consider putting some money aside to buy clothes when you get there - just in case ...
Reply:Get a nice wool coat, a scarf, and gloves. You'll start needing them in October. Bring long pants or jeans, and a pair of boots or shoes that can stand up to water and snow that you still don't mind wearing.
Reply:I used to teach at Temple, and the good thing is that it is not a terribly fussy school when it comes to fashion. I remember a lot of jeans, t-shirts, sweatshirts, and short, windbreaker-type jackets. Of course, that was a number of years ago, but those things weren't particularly trendy then either.
Reply:You'll definately need warm winter clothes. Good boots that will withstand the water and snow. A nice, warm jacket. Some sweaters or at least long-sleeved shirts. Hats, gloves, scarfs, that kind of thing.
Reply:You will need 7 pairs of g-strings. That is all you need.
Reply:I live in Georgia but i've been to Pennsylvania and Arizona before. I went to Pennsylvania in the winter. IT GETS COLD! Here in Ga it rarely snows but their it was freezing and their was a blizzard. So I say pack a good warm coat, sweaters, blankets, etc. But east coast summers are VERY different from west coast summers. When its hot, its HOT! We have a lot of humidity in summer so you'll experience some hot, sticky heat. And the nights are hot to. Your gonna miss the hot dry west coast air, trust me. The good thing about the humidity is that you'll have a lesser chance of sun burn. Just remember east coast heat is stuffy and humid. So you may sweat a little more and your hair may frizz.

I go to college in georgia and the key items in my wardrobe that save my life are: T-shirts, Hoodies, jeans, flip flops, and a pair of boots (Ugg style). When your tired from studying and have to get up for a early class you can just slip these on, be comfortable, and look good. some people (skanks) dress up for class and try to wear heels but after walking around campus all day in the heat or snow you will regret it.
