College???????
can you give some of that enthusiasm to my son?
Reply:You are doing remarkably well. I suggest you get into the Math and English honors society in the 11th grade as well as the Honors society. Taking honors class helps but remember anyone can get in if they have a core GPA of 3.5 or higher in a class.
Reply:This should be more than enough for you to get into a "good" college, though maybe not the one(s) you are dreaming of.
You should remember that no matter what college you may get into, even an Ivy League college, you will be very lucking indeed if you find only one good professor that really connects with you.
Like all other human organizations, colleges themselves have their share of corruption and dead wood even at senior faculty levels.
