College???

I have a question about going school... If I am having difficulties because of injuries going to school everyday because of doctor's appointments, physical therapy, etc. Is there anyway for me to keep my grades up because my school and teachers are not very accomodating so my grades in certain things are going to take a hit this quarter and I can't do anything about it. So is there anyway for me to do something like homeschooling for a semester, that colleges will not look badly upon because I am missing a lot of school due to an injury. Thanks in advanced for answering my question...

PS thorough answers are appreciated. Thank you again.

College???
Have your mom and doctor get together. My cousin went through the same thing after a car accident and ended up having a tutor come to his house for the first semester of his Jr year.

The process was long, but it involved his mom petitioning and talking to the principal and part of the school board. Then the doctor had to prove that being in the school atmosphere wasn't helping his heel.
Reply:I recommend you discuss your options with your teachers and high school counselor. It may be that your doctor can write a note requesting that you do your work from home and over the computer (if that is at all possible). Perhaps you can take some make-up courses in the summer, before fall and ask how that would affect your graduation? Home schooling?

Best wishes. I hope you feel better soon.
Reply:Have a parent and a doctor recommend home bound instruction.
