I have no idea what i want to do after i graduate from high school. I have heard that it would be better to go to a college and get a 4 year degree in anything, that way if i have to go back then i will only have to work on my major. I am not sure if i want to go to college, but i have the grades and stuff. I have thought about becoming a massage therapist, but I am not sure. If you have any sites that would give me specific jobs after taking a quiz rather, than a field, that would be great, but your opinions about the 4 yr thing then technical school or whatever would be cool too....thanks...i would like the chance to study abroad, but i have to decide on what i am going to do tho....let me know thanks...
College???!!!?
I think the most important thing with school is WANTING to go to it. . .don't start college without the desire to be in college. That would make you fail. ..
Think about anything you've ever done that has made you feel alive! Then, think about a job where you can do that.
Best wishes!
Reply:I think you should definitely consider college!
Here's two issues that might help you decide:
My sister barely started her college career due to some other circumstances. After about a 2 year break from school, she already has a stable bank job but she still wants to return back to school so she could move further on in her career.
I'm currently at the University of Texas and I've always been in school and I'm loving college! The experience and also all the knowledge you learn is really great. I know that sounds corny, but if not now, then when? If you have all the criteria required, you should go for it!
Good luck making your decision! :)
Reply:I like someone else's idea of taking general classes at a community college to see if you want to continue on. It will definitely be cheaper than going straight into a 4 year college with their tuition. Also, I believe massage therapy is offered at the two-year college level, so you should go to a school that offers that program. A word of advice though: make sure the credits at the community college will transfer to the 4 year college if you decide to go. Transfering credits can be challenging. Talking to a career counselor at your current schoolr or at whatever college you attend will help you also.
Reply:Find a college that you like and go there and start taking general ed classes. There is almost 2 years of general ed that you will have to take. After a year or two of general ed you will most likely know what major you like the best.
Reply:start at a comunnity or technical college take a couple of classes to be honnest with you i did not wan tto go to college and i did not know what i wanted to be but i started going for pharmacy and decidded that i am going to be a physicians assistant. take science and health classes if that is the feild you are planing to go into. otherwise business. if you owant to be a massage therapist i would go for physiocal therapist they make more and it is more hands on
