College?!!!?

Man im so excited 2 go to colelge next year but i nervous cuz imma b n a new own wit new people?...how can i meet new people in college?..

First off dont be nervous because all new people are nervous. Chances are there are hundred of incoming freshman just as nervous and anxious as you to make new friends, make sure they find their classes, and succeed in college. The easiest way would be to start talking to the people sitting closest to you in class. Go to the local gatherings that the college throws(movie nights, block parties, ect) Find people within your courses that you can create a study group with and meet a coffee shop. Most colleges are very good at providing ways for incoming students to feel welcome and included, to help them acclimate. Good luck!
Reply:My own experience is that people are a whole lot less cliquish in college and much friendlier. I had no problem making friends with people in my classes and through projects and such.

Reply:As a college student, I can say that you'll meet tons of people all over the place. You'll meet people in your classes, at club meetings, living in a dorm, and just wandering around campus. Don't worry about it, you'll be fine.
Reply:College is the easiest place to make friends! Everyone there is in the same position! Just be yourself, be friendly and never under estimate the power of a smile! There will be hundreds of different clubs you could join and loads of socials to go to. You'll have a great time!
Reply:Two good ways - do something you enjoy, and try new things. You're going to meet a lot of new people just by being there, but if you like, say, art, there are probably art events/clubs on campus. If you don't know if you like art, check out the exhibits. Volunteer to help out at events, or in the campus theater (they always need help). If you follow the things you love to do, and try some new things, you'll meet a lot of people.
Reply:Talk to everyone sitting near you in your classes and introduce yourself. Try not to be shy, even if you are lol! If you are going to be in the dorms, try to get to know those people you live with too. Also colleges usually have set-up study groups/workshops for some classes so you can meet people there too. And don't worry because pretty much everyone is in the same boat- they don't know anyone. So try to make other people at home too.
Reply:just talk to alot of people...... but see if i was you i would enjoy my last year of HS because once you get to college you're in the real world now sweety and im speaking from experience
