What are your thoughts about college????

College?!?!?!?
There are soooooo many schools out there and one that is fitting for everyone. Personal development and experience and the best time (right after high school) to learn to live on your own, be responsible, make new friends and have the time of your life. If you want to earn good money some day as well, you need to show you have the ability to learn.... and that college degree is the door opener to most companies. There are also financial aid programs to assist when cost may be a factor so why wouldnt anyone want to go? A chance to grow and see what you can be. Sometimes its not for everyone.... but you wont know unless you try it out ;)
Reply:College is really fun alot more laid back than high schoo. However the work is hard and more demand is put on you. You got to want the education if you don't have the will to be succsfully then you want make much of it. Community college is great if your not sure what you want to do or if you ready for a University. If you do Commmunity College maker you your Circcumal will transfer to a four year school if you want to.
Reply:Depends on an individuals aspirations and how they did in school.





Its great for those with ambition, not so good for those with short attention span or who get bored easily.





Personally, i've been studying computers in college for 5 years now and love it. Gives me great confidence, ambition and is a great place to meet people.





p.s What's with all the ....... MOR E? Think you could do with some 'undergraduate college'.
Reply:getting a college degree nowadays is like getting a high school degree 30 years ago... undergraduate college really doesnt mean anything anymore... college is more about experiencing life with people that have similar goals as yourself... i learned more about who i was during college than any other time in my life... you grow as a person, and its not from taking the classes. undergrad is definitely necessary if you want to move onto specializing in a field... (graduate school) that is where the money is at... 4 years is not enough nowadays... people can definitely be sucessful without a degree, but most of those people are innovative entreapenuers... (spelled wrong) that find a niche for themselves. you cant just get a job out of high school at a normal company and expect to make serious money without a degree... go to college.... if you dont have the money, then take out loans or apply for scholarships... the government will give you money if you are a hardship case... definitely go to college, you wont regret it. the college years will be the best years of your life... try to dorm as well, it will make all the difference and you will make friends for life... your high school friends that dont go to college will fall behind in life... dont join them... its almost embarassing when the topic of college comes up and somebody didnt graduate... its not that hard to pass classes... just put your head down, do your reading and drink heavily.... thats how i graduated...
