College??????

College??????
It depends on the major and one's financial resources. Practically anybody who wants to go to college can find a college that will accept him or her if the person has enough money to spend for tuition. However, many schools, are becoming very competitive for higher academic achievers; thus, the incentive for getting good grades may equate to scholarship money.

However, if you feel like your skills are somewhat below the standards of a regular four-year school, then simply enroll in a community college. At the community college, you can take a few remedial courses for math or English, graduate with a two-year transfer degree, and transfer into a four-year college. And community colleges are usually much more relaxed administratively speaking than are the four-year schools, which are often plagued with bureaucracy and red tape. It's important, though, to get good grades at the community college level; otherwise, transfers are more difficult.

So, in short, start the path to college by enrolling in a community college first.
Reply:Yes, also depends on ACT and/or SAT scores. But also if you try for a state college (public college not private) their standards are more lenient. Plus don't ever knock JC's, they are cheaper and the Larger incorporated university will accept those classes as transfers.
Reply:first off a lot of the really smart people end up dropping out of college..its weird my victorian of my class already dropped out. im in my 3rd year and ive been to two different big universities and im a C B student. ur fine goodluck in your future endeavors =D
Reply:There are many things to be taken into consideration besides just grades. Your SAT score, essays, extra curriculars like sports, etc. If you have a low GPA but make it up in the SAT category, have a range of committed extra currics, you can get into a college. it is also highly dependent on what type of college you want to go to.
