College?!?!?!?

so yeah college is not cheap.


and i need any and all advice on paying for it....


im a smart kid...is there money with that?


i play the trumpet well....will they pay me for that??


i really have no idea and all help would be apprciated.

First off you need to fill out a FAFSA form that will determine what federal aid you are eligible for. You can usually get students loans, work study (work a certain # of hours=paying for some of your school), pell grants, and other things. Most students get offered student loans to pay for school. Look at www.fastweb.com, search google for scholarships and grants, check out the schools you want to attend as many of them have scholarships available.





When you apply to colleges be sure to emphasize the activites that you have been a part of in HS. I ended up getting a $4000 yearly scholarship based on grades alone.
